Mom of four, middle sister, DIY enthusiast, Latina and one big-time homegirl. That’s right, I’m a homegirl. Don’t get it twisted though. I’m not a chola (although when I was little I wanted to be one so bad but my mom would never let us own a pair of black vans, so there when that dream). I mean homegirl as in a girl that loves to stay home. I am your typical homebody. Like Dorothy, I believe there is no place like home. I wish I owned a pair of those magical red shoes so that I could be transported back home instantly from anywhere. No matter where I go, the first thought on my mind when I get there is “when are we going home? And is there a Starbucks on the way.”
Let’s get it straight. I’m not boring. I love making plans, traveling, trying new things and all that good stuff…I just can’t wait to be home.
Anyway, because the love for home is real, I’m on a mission to make it the best place possible for me and my family. A place that I can be proud of, that’s equal in beauty and comfort. A place that is inviting and is a true reflection of who we are. It’s a blank canvas right now, can’t wait to take you along for the ride.
